Marcin Kurzyna, MD, PhD, FESC
Head of Department of Pulmonary Circulation, Thromboembolic Diseases and Cardiology Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education, Fryderyk Chopin Hospital in European Health Centre Otwock
Marcin Kurzyna graduated from Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. He has been a physician in Intensive Care Unit, and since 2003 Head of Hemodynamic Lab in National Institute for Lung Diseases. Currently is a Head of Department of Pulmonary Circulation, Thromboembolic Diseases and Cardiology of Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education in Warsaw. He was a President of Working Group on Pulmonary Circulation of Polish Cardiac Society. Since 2019 is a Fellow of European Society of Cardiology and member of Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute. He is a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology and has a PhD in respiratory medicine. His research interests are related to role of invasive procedures in diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary vascular diseases.
